Got a question about Duraspark II.
So I'm grafting in to my '93 5.0L Ranger the Ford extra duty ignition from my old '85 Mustang. I've got the wiring diagram,
But I'm somewhat unsure about just one spot --where the ballast resistor and start bypass are.
I have an MSD ballast resistor that I can wire, however, my main question is, is there power supplied to both the red and white wires going to the module? And then if I'm reading this correctly, the resistor should be in-line to the coil.
And then what is the function of the white wire going to the module after it's been started? Does the white wire have to have +12v when cranking only? And the red is +12v all the time?
Any ideas?
