ROFL!

I should start my own cam company and call it "McDonalds Cams" and the punch line - "Eat Your Opponents Alive!" LOL

Performance is also partially based on preference... But it's all good, I understand all that you are saying (no, really, I do). I was simply passing on the e-cam's acceptance for a vehicle that is going to be daily driven (which seemed to be more of the OP's speed).

I personally wouldn't run an e-cam, I was sort of eluding to the fact that if he wanted to daily his car, that he probably shouldn't bother replacing his e-cam unless he really wanted to go through the hoo-hah...

Personally, my budget is much different, I won't be going for one of the FRPP cams unless I get back on the BDX (Barber Driving Experience) binge again.

OP, the E-cam is a horrible choice.

You should consider investing in a new shortblock, something with pistons that are notched for inline valved heads. then get yourself a decent set of heads (if budget allows). If you cant afford them, grab some GT-40 irons and select a GOOD cam. hell, even the TFS1 would be a better choice.
I'm tired of reading stuff like this. Almost every forum.. He's not trying to run 11s (Assuming). It sounds like he's on a budget. So spending 700 on redoing the lower end + Heads is out of the question. Your advice should not sound like criticizm. AT ALL..

I'm running an e303 now. Speed pro pistons, E7 heads, Very stiff beehive valve springs from comp., and a double roller timing chain. Plus you'll need a rocker arm shim kit if you have the stock 6.25" push rods. It'll lope and you'll notice a big difference from stock. Did it on a 300 dollar budget.

Sorry, don't know the whole story on why he was banned. It couldn't have been because of his polite, courteous, to the point answers and comments. Which, to be honest, I kinda enjoyed reading. He knew mustangs in and out that's for sure, but you needed thick skin if he answered your thread with a commonsense question. Maybe someone will chime in here and tell the story, I'd like to know too.
