Default My 95 is running way lean help please

I have been messing with a lean 5.0 since last summer after I had to change out all the censers and EEC, MAF, distributer and ICM. But after I changed the intake manifold to GT40 stile it seamed to get worse.

70MM throttle-body
Tuned shorty's
X pipe
Cat back
255 Fuel pump
Fuel press reg set know at 40 psi was 50
timing back at 10
Bosch platinum 4 plugs
good wires cap rotor
stock 19 injectors new
the rest of the engine heads on down is stock.

Last weekend I tried a dyno pull and my AFR hit 17.6 at 3800 in 4th when she started to spark knock. My low bad gauge pegs out to full lean any time I try to get in it. She starts great and idles great, no over heating and no codes pop, some time a little back fire in the intake. How can I fix this?

I changed the filter last summer and I know she has been lean since befor that. I was looking on here and found a sticky on running rich and he points to the ECT and water temp. I could look at that mabey the EEC thinck the engine is to cold and that is way it back fires somtimes through the intake.
I dont think I need more than the 19 lbs injectors since there in no way that I am running 300 hp.
Or am I rong on this?

take out the bosch piece of **** plugs, install autolite 25's

You say you changed the maf, why? what maf did you install?

and start checking for vac leaks. the vac hoses on the bottom side of your upper intake manifold are a god place to start.

I have never had problems with the bosch plugs, but alwas had problems with the autolite, and the old stock maf was bad read out on a ford dionostic by a fod mechanic and replaced with a stock maf also checked by ford. No Vac leaks I have checked all of them out, but I will check them again.
I did have the ECT out when I changed the intake and maybe alittle worn out, so I will check it again and read it out also.

i really dont give a **** what experience youve had with bosch plugs.. your car is not meant to have them in it. But hell, if you want the tips of the plugs melting off and dripping into your cylinders, because of the type of ignition system you run... by all means, be my guest.

maybe youll put a standard copper core plug in your new engine after you figure out that im NOT talking out my *** here.

AdderMK2 I will research this and if your right I will go back to copper core, however I never disagreed with you in the first place, and did think about what you said. On the other hand NEVER reply on my post ever again. I don't need help from someone that can’t be descent to others on their post YOUR ATTITUDE is uncalled for, so grow up.
