Would this cause any valve interfearence with the pistons on a stock E7 block?

Shouldn't. That's one of the differances in the Cobra motor, it has the 1.7 rockers. But I can't remember if they're roller tip or not. I think they are.
so you say a "good cold air intake" now what trumps over bbk its just theres not much else out there that ive found.
I have actually seen a JLT ram air intake but they don't make them anymore.... But I have a Anderson Ford Motorsports power pipe on mine, it's aluminum not chrome metal like the bbk and doesn't get heat soaked anywhere near as bad as the bbk either.
Also I have stock e7's on my car and 1.7 cobra rockers on mine no issues, just a little noisy. Just on the stock valve covers you have to take the baffle out of them.
