Default door pin install problem

hey guys, i have an 86 t top and yesterday i decided to replace the door pins because the drivers door was sagging when opened and had to be lifted in order to close it. so i got both pins in however on the lower hinge, it doesnt seem to have the bottom hole. when i cut the old pin in half on the bottom, i had to pull up on the bottom piece because i couldnt hit it thru the bottom because it's solid. i dont know if this makes sense. well as a result with the new pin in the bottom it cant go thru because there's no hole. so it fixes the problem for 3 opens and closes and then sags. i cant hit it thru at all to put a cotter pin in. do i need to drill a hole? has anyone had this problem?

You're sure? I didn't take a close enough look yesterday cause my pins gave me a hard time and I was glad to have the door back on and partially fixed. I'm going out now to look at it

question, did you buy the door pins locally or did you go with a kit from one of the sites usually used around here? also, what did you use to support the door while installing it? i need to do this badly. my doors sag a bunch, too.

I used a jack to support the weight. I bought my pins from foxmustangrestoration.

I got my pins from autozone it ran me 13 bucks for 2 pins and 4 bushings, and I used a jack to support the weight while I got the old pins out then had my buddy hold the door when I moved it out to put the new bushings in
