Screwed up speedo

My speedo wobbles up and down between 10 - 35mph the steadies out but it is about 5 mph to slow. Whats the problem here? By the way its a 93 GT 5.0 all stock.

Your speed cable is prob old and is dry, i would just replace it, and make sure the teeth on the speed gear is good also!!! <<<
