Yeah Clevite said dont touch them at all. So my options are to run 1 half of a .001 oversized bearing and 1 half of standard bearing or try to get my machinist to polish off a .0005 which will be tough.

Then you might want to stick the larger shell(the one with more clearance) on the rod side and not the cap side. You're going to have half of the crankpin with .001 radial clearance and the other half with .0015 radial clearance. Since the rod side is the one that's more heavily loaded during combustion, putting the large clearance shell on that side gives it a bit more room. Too loose will live, too tight won't, as the saying goes.
