A firewall self adjuster you just depress the pedal and release a time or two and viola it self adjusts.

the stock pedal has an adjuster as well, depress several times and then lift UP on the pedal and it should take up the slack

when you re-install the cable, put it on the fork side first, then thread it through the firewall. When you look up under the dash you will see the stock quadrant. There are two pieces (ratchet and pawl). You want to grab the one that is closest to the firewall (pawl), and rotate it clockwise, as if you were looking at it from the passenger side. This will release the teeth of the adjuster. you can then rotate the quadrant itself (ratchet) all the way clockwise, and put the cable in place. Once you have done this, gently release the quadrant and let it return to its normal position.

THEN you can pump the clutch a few times, hook your toe under it give it a little tug. this will set the adjuster.
