Default timing chain

i took a 1988 motor out of a ford bronco.put the retro kit in with a e 303 ford racing cam in it but got the timing chain for a standard 302 in it will it throw my timing off i put in a 1995 mustang can not get to idle or run right

the timing chain isnt causing your problem

No the chain will work just fine. Did you line up the dots right?

yup... thats me.. big ole smartass..

although last time I checked, I wasnt the one with a car that runs like ***, and thinks its because he used a late model timing chain on an engine that didnt change for what.... 33 years?!

maybe if the person who assembled it wasnt a dumb****, it would be running right.
