Default 94 mustang gt help

I bought a 94 mustang gt that I need help with. The car runs rough and has a power loss. It acts like it is miss firing and smokes black when u crack the throttle. It has bbk headers and not sure on exhaust. Did a test and came up with these codes 136 ho2s sensor fault always lean. 172 ho2s sensor fault/lean. There is no o2 sensors in the headers. The person B 4 me put metal plugs in them. I found one o2 plug harness on the passenger side but not one on left. Is there one or two o2 sensors on the car. I need help to get this going.

2 O2 sensors before the cats (dont tell me they're removed, the position is the same)

why someone would remove the O2 sensors is beyond me...

mustve also owned an IROC..

I looked the only two areas for the o2 sensors r in the exhaust pipes right under where the headers and exhaust hooks up. There is a plug there where the o would hook up. There is no plug for the left side. looked every where.

I'm brand new here, and can't believe this was posted, as I came on here about to post the same thing. But decided to look a little bit first. I'm coming up with the same code, along with a couple others that point to running lean on both banks. Have put new O2 sensors in, cleaned the intake manifold, checked the MAF sensor. Everything indicates I should not be running lean (well, that I've checked so far), yet I'm still getting the codes.

Sorry to jump on board, but am eager to hear any solutions, or ideas. For you OR me. Any ideas will help me in my next step of troubleshooting.

And if it isn't obvious, I have the same make and model. 5.0L GT.
