Default rear axle swap question!

I was wondering if a 94 gt rear end will bolt directly into an 88. the 88 has the 4 cylinder axle in it and im looking to upgrade, i was hoping i could do this swap with no fabrication just a simple bolt in.

yes. you can also swap the drum brakes onto it, as well as your axle shafts.

If you decide to use the SN-95 disc brakes, you will need a new proportioning valve. Your rear wheels will also sit 3/4" further out on each side, which can cause rubbing issues id you are lowered. You can also only use the SN-95 brakes if you do a 5 lug swap.
