I have an 89 gt that will not fire without giving it gas. It turns over but will die if I don't rev the engine to keep her going. The idle flucuates and then steadies out. My gas mileage is terrible. I dont know where to go from here. I have replaced the TPS and cleaned the IAC. MAF has been replaced. Plugs and wires. Fuel filter. I cleaned the throttle body plate. Adjusted the timing. New O2 sensors. I am running out of options. Any ideas?

Have you checked really,really good for vaccum leaks?

Then add some fuel cleaner if you haven't done that already...

Still having problems then disconnect the batt for 30 mins then plug it up. Maybe the computer is glitchy......that is if 89s have MAF not speed dense

89's has maf's...is it a stock maf?...is it new or used?...

it was new but symptoms are still the same from when the old one was in.

its ur vacuum hoses, if it wasnt the iac, timing, or tps.. its gotta be your vacuum hoses
