I have an 84 Mustang GT convertable. I bought the car from a some people that had put a new moter in it and basically they left me with a huge electrical mess. Ive gotten most straightened out but it still wont charge. What ive got is 2 wires going to the the external Voltage regulator and 1 wire connectiong to another wire from the regulator and then going to the positvie side on the Starter relay. The alterantor isnt putting out anything at all so if anyone knows a diagram i can use to straight wire it it would be really helpful or if any of you can tell me whats wrong i would really appreciate it.

So im having some alternator problems to my shiats not charging or something an only help i've found so far is in this link but of course my damn voltmeter got raind on an now its reading all crazy numbers without even being connected to anything ! Yea thanks its been a real problem lol trying to get it to charge is about the only problem i havnt fixed and i already have a 90 model from clip lol it looks much better then the 84 it really helped the look alot
