Default 1 wire alternator

So i just bought this 1 wire 150 amp alternator an it didnt come with any instructions...i mean it should be simple there's only 1 wire to hook up right my question tho is where do i put the wire do i put it on the pos battery side of the solenoid or on the battery pos post itself???

Do you have a link to the alt you purchased? Why did you get a one wire alt?

because they are better gm has used them for years...self-exciting and everything is internal as to answer the op's question, I ran mine directly to the battery which would be the same as running it to the always hot side of the selonoid, either way will work, I just did it direct to battery for ease
