Default Too much vibration?

Iv had it!! This car shakes above 60mph, specially when im on a curve. Door panels and hand rest start shaking..? Have new brakes on car, changed rims. When it does do it i put it in N just to see if it stops shaking but still rocks. All my wheels have been balanced and rotated so cant be that..people have said the U-joint but is that hard to change? Taking off the drive shaft is easy but the actual replacement of joint not too sure..?

u-joints are easy. get the tools from an autozone or advance autoparts, and watch a how-to video on youtube.

put it on jack stands and run it, that will cancel out your wheels or alignment.. i am having really really bad vibrations at 60, about 70 i have to slow down cause it feels like it is going to jump out of gear and running out of idea's.. if you figure it out let me know

Yea, the things are getting old and without subframe connectors they feel like they will rattle apart. If it wasn't for my hatch and blown shocks mine would sound solid but some of it is just the nature of the car, especially verts.

If the vibration at that particular MPH stops when you press the clutch in, it's a clutch pressure plate. (Having the exact same issue on my mustang, around 40mph). IF not then yea its probably something to do with the drivetrain upfront. Best to take it to a Ford dealer if you're not experienced yourself, reason being is they have alot of recall and ford - specific repair information. Hope this helps!

anything before the transmission CANNOT be speed related....

so if it happens at a speed, its NOT the clutch... stupid noobs
