Mustang Fuel level problems?

I have a 93 Mustang I did the v8 efi swap.. The whole winter has been a nightmare with this swap. Good news is I got it started today.. But I put 2 gallons of gas in it and my gauge is stuck over full. I was just wondering if anyone has had this problem.. I didn't know if it was most commonly a ground issue or a the sender. Any help is greatly appreciated.

more than likely its the sender.did it work before you did the v8 swap

I bought the car as a roller and it didnt come with a tank.....
