Default Stock bottom end

I got my lil bro a 5.0 out of a ford explorer. Only had 80,000 original miles on it. Putting E7 on for now. Thinking of putting a tfs1 cam in it, dual plan intake, probably weiand stealth. about a 650cfm holley, and a t5 for trans in a 91 lx. What do u think the hp would be about.

Really need to ditch the e7 heads if you want to gain any real power at all.

He doesnt need alot of hp. He is only 17 and cant afford any good aluminum heads or any other cast irons for now. Will be upgraded later on though

i wouldnt waste my money on the cam wouldnt really do anything with e7 heads

if you got gt40s why not use them.im running about the same setup that you want to and it runs amazing for what it is.my buddy has a 95 that is almost the same motor as mine but his is a 306 with stock heads and he cant even come close to running with me.
