could i have a bad tps? i have tried the mod to make mine ajustable the spout on my car is located on the passenger side fenderwell when i set base timing with it out set to 10* then i check timing with it in with timing lite timing is over 20*+ and moving around at idle. I have the egr blocked off with a blockoff plate i put it back on just to have something for plug to plug into thinking that could be my problem still no change

Well if you block ot off dont plug it back in lol. Unplug it and retest. Its possible the tps is bad but not a common on sn styles. U elongated the holes? Whats ur tps voltage koeo with dmm? Needs to be closest to 1volt.

Did u even check the voltage? If you just swap parts ur gonna ne in the same boat u were in at the begining stop wasting money unless u know for sure its bad. Thats exactly why the few people who dont like efi dont like it! Ok u swap tps and have the same issue (efi sucks) comes back to play! Get the voltage right knock out one thing at a time. With the spout out chevk timing at about 3000rpm then plug it back in and do the same! Post results! And the tps voltage.
