Default ignition switch issues.

So the other day i went to start the car and no lights or anything came on at all, the battery is fully charged and working fine. so i replaced the ignition switch and the lights came on, i put the bezel back together and the lights had gone off, again and when i tried to start it nothing happened. today when i plugged the battery back in the lights came on but very dim, and as soon i turned the key the car went dead again, no instrument panel lights, fuel pump or anything.

Default ignition solenoid

maybe it can be your ignition solenoid with a faulty connection.
I know this sounds dumb but did you make sure the ignition switch was fully snapped in?

how do you tell if its snapped in all the way? i mean i bought the switch and left the little bar on it till i bolted it in, i put it in and bolted it down then took the little metal bar off then connected the harness. is there some other way i was supposed to "snap" it in place?

Theres little tabs on each corner, like a soft metal. Smack them with something to make sure its actually connecting. Had this problem with mine a few years back, turn signals wouldnt work, and if I hit a bump car would shut off, found these tabs werent holding the switch in place. Smacked em down and been good ever since.
