My 94 mustang gt has this problem where whenever i put it in reverse when i'm backing out it wont shift into second after I start driving i put it manually into 2nd then back into drive and then it shifts into third and so on its just whenever I put it in reverse when i first get going, anyone have some idea as to what I should do? all the fluids and filters are good

possibly just line pressure with tv cable. but probably on it's way out. all my aod's i ever broke did all kind of random stuff before kinally going kaput

So I should probably just get a new transmission sounds like? I have a buddy with a 96 4.6 v8 mustang for parts would that transmission fit on my 94 5.0?
