Cool, thanks for the info guys. Just curious, how much is a fuel management unit? I've never heard of it.

EDIT: Also, what's the best way to install the turbos?
You can get an FMU as cheap as $10 on ebay if you are lucky. I would say you're looking at around $40-60.

You have to be able to cut/weld metal to install the turbos

That's what i want! lol I just wasn't sure what it was. So back to the basics......what is the bare minimum I would need to install a turbo system on my gt?

All creative ideas welcomed!
What I said was the bare minimum. How you obtain the parts is how cheap the setup will be.

for a rear mounted u would need a eletri oil pump b/c its in the rear and the gravity 1 used in a front mount turbo wouldnt work
4-6 psi wont give u much of a bang, if the motor is solid u can run 7-8psi, a nice size i would go for a t3 or a sc1 turbo

& a pretty expensive turbo. The type required isn't used on any cars laying around the junkyard.

There is alot of fab work involved in this if you cant weld or dont have a welder it might tget a little more expensive for you.I just bought a intercooler piping kit on ebay for 160 and with that you should be able to fab up all the piping you will need. The hardst part is getting all the headers and mount for the turbo setup
