Default Oil Leak

Got a 91 5.0 with auto trans. Got a pretty good oil leak that I though was coming from the rear main seal because the oil seems to be dripping off the bottom of the bell housing..Took the dust cover off the front bottom of the bell housing and the ring gear/flywheel area was dry of any oil. My assumption would be if the RMS is leaking it would be wet with oil. Started looking further and it looks as if the oil is coming from the back of the engine higher up. I replaced the PCV valved a checked the hose and they seem fine. Any ideas where oil might be leaking from the back of the engine? It's now leaking to the point that it's dripping on the CATS and smoking. Thanks for any help.

I would assume the valve cover or intake.

rear intake manifold valley seal

I'd get a new set of intake and valve cover gaskets, along with changing your PCV valve

Thanks Guys for the info. I suspected the intake might be leaking but it's hard to see whats going on behind the engine. I replaced the valve cover gaskets last year and the pcv valve so they are good so all that's left is the intake gaskets. I guess I have a project to do this weekend.

Do not use the inclosed gaskets for block to lower intake. Use bead of RTV.

+1 and honestly think about a head and intake swap at this you can swing it. even if it's a gt40 swap (real gt40...not small ported gt40p)
