What year? Have you checked the voltage when it's running (should be around 14½ to 15½)? You could look at the wiring diagrams at Autozone.com

so you have to hold back on the lever on the column for your headlights to work?? if that's the case... its that multifunction switch in the column that's failing. i wired up my own lil switch for headlights in my 87, because i had to hold that lever back when i first bought it. wiring diagrams are easy to use if u wanna do an afro-engineer job about it. and are your blinkers like REALLY slow? slower than normal? because they're known to be slow in the foxes.

Hey i wired a switch too cause i was getting tired of holding the lever back. The blinkers are slower then they used to be. Plus the wiring for the windshield wipers is messed up because the motor is fine but they still dont work.

first check all your fuses and if they are all alright then its your multifunction switch bc it runs all those parts. also what is your voltage at when the car is running is it at least half way on the gauge

I agree with the others. If your voltage is OK, it sounds a lot like the multifunction switch. You'll need to replace it.
