Default 91 Fox 5.0 Question-Ignition

On the way home today my Fox died at 70m on the highway. I dropped it down to another gear and it started back. It ran for about 5 minutes. It started running real rough. I pulled over let it sit for a few minutes, started it back up it ran ok for a minute then started loosing power and running rough eventuallt cutting off. It did this numerous times, let sit for a few, cranked up ran ok at first then rough running eventually dieing. All the guages are reading fine- not overheating. I was wondering what you guys think? I thought the fuel pump at first, but if it was bad wouldn't the car not start at all? It is engaging when I cut the switch on. I also thought it may be the ignition coil. Maybe going bad? Any help or advice would be appreciated. Thanks-

Dizzy Module ???? I think I have it figured out- wire running from the coil to the distributor was not making contact completely. So far ok. Thanks.

I think he's referring to the fact that the TFI module on the distributor can start to misbehave under heat when it's getting ready to fail.
