Question I NEED HELP WITH MY CLUTCH??????

Hello i have a 1990 ford GT mustang 5.0 and im having problems with the clutch. Its slipping but they said it can be a fluid issue. I was driving and the brake light came on i had issues before with the E brake so i thought it was acting up again so i kept driving it. About a month later the clutch started slipping but very little it would rev up when i would step on it than the brakes started going all the way down i had to pump the pedal before it would stop. So i checked the brake fluid and it was empty there was no trail of it leaking and the clutch just got more worse to where i had to take off slow in order for it not rev up and than it would go. I put fluid in it and now it brakes fine but the clutch is still the same if im going up a little hill it goes slow and revs up. PLEASE HELP!!!!!!! hopefully theres a way to fix this without spending a lot of money any answer will help THANKS!!!!!!!

Brakes have no bearing on clutch slippage. Find where brake fluid is leaking. You can push it to make it go, but you have to have brakes! Get a clutch kit. Resurface flywheel. Drive.

BRAKE FLUID LOSS:

In one case on my '85 Mustang GT I was loosing fluid and couldn't figure out where. I finally took it in. The owner said he only saw this about 2 times before where the fluid was leaking at the brake booster and being drawn in thru the vacuum line. It was such a small leak I left it alone and just kept adding fluid every so often.

Your clutch isnt hydraulic. So whoever told you it could be a fluid issue... is a ****ing retard!

As for your brakes, the fluid is going somewhere. Take all 4 wheels off, check the front brake pistons for leakage, check your wheel cylinders for leakage. Inspect all lines and hoses. If you still cant find anything, remove the master cylinder and see if its leaking into the brake booster.
