Default Trying to remove factory shifter in a SN95.. Any tips?

I am in the middle of trying to remove the factory shifter from my 94. I am down to the shifter base and I am trying to remove a bolt (driver side/front) and it is the only one out of the four that I can't move. Any tips on getting it out?

WD-40, and Deep Creep have been liberally applied.

Thanks guys.

Apply some heat then apply some Freeze Off on it. Follow directions. Use six sided tools.

Thanks man. What was your weapon of choice... Boxed ended wrench?

I tired my propane torch earlier.. Still no luck.

with a factory shifter... there is no reason you can't get it off with sockets... Yo shouldn have any clearance issues at all.

Thanks guy. I got it.

Adder, idk what the deal was... The front two bolts were not accessible with a socket. Had to use a ratcheting box end to get under the metal shelf in the way.

^ Interesting... Bought the car 5 years ago with 123K on it,so I guess it could have been done, but from the maintainence records/carfax/etc, it doesn't seem likely. Anyway to ID one from the outside?

Car was built 2/1994...

^ No. The seller's story checks out with the carfax and maintainence records that came with the car... First owner had it for 2 years, and put 40K on it. Second owner drove it till 120K or so and kept a notebook of all repair/maintaince. Third owner, friends of second owner, only had the car for a year or so before selling.
