93' 5.0 stang GT...
My friend's step dad has a 93' 5.0 mustang GT, its got that light green paint on the top and the gray down by the ground effects. Anyways the body is in perfect condition, manual, dual exhaust(theres actually holes cut out of the rear bumber for the duals, not crappy either) and has a small roll cage just in the back seat area I believe. I asked him today about how much he would sell it for and he said probably $6000. Thats sounds like a good deal to me but it has around 130,000 miles on it, and I want a car that will last all through college with no problems but still want speed for the occasional street race I plan to mod it also performance wise in time. Just tell me if I should do it or consider it??? Thanks!
P.S.
Right not Im driving a 99' v6 stang. But very low miles....only 44k miles.

well u know what I mean about the duals...there not factory, I believe there flowmasters. No never wrecked, perfect condition body. Sounds mean as hell!!! Mods Im not sure about...If I had to guess I would probably say real basic stuff like CAI,rims, short shifter other then that I think its stock.

Miles are a little high... my 94 GT had 87,000 and I got it for $6800 - it has headers, offroad h, flows, short throw shifter, and its dropped 1.5 inches. Just to put you in perspective for price/mods. I got a pretty decent deal though. But i would go for it - $6000 starting isnt bad at all cause you could probably get it down a few hundred. Even if its a firm 6000 it seems like a good deal. Good luck and way to go on getting a 5.0.

Ya I will see....also its going to be a bitch trying to explain this one to the parents...lol (My dad bought my v6 stang) So quik what price are u talkin here? And Im just worried how much more driving and the occasional street race the fox can take though with 130k miles on it before I have to replace stuff?

RE: 93' 5.0 stang GT...
give you an example my buddy got 170k hard miles. he beats the **** out of this car. and only problem was water pump, and a few cap/rotors
price without seeing and knowing i couldnt tell. i paid 1k for mine. that was kinda cheap. 3k is about right but with mods and very clean i dunno without knowing everything about the car.
you can find a modded car for 6k or a stock one for 6k. i would never pay 6k for a stock one. and a modded one i would do the modding...i like to build my own ****
