Default need some help w/overheating

ok my 94 gt decided to go ape **** on me a few weeks back and the fan and harness melted in traffic, i got her home just before overheating, and checked it. i removed the fan and put a aftermarket one on> now the car cant sit very long at all (esp. in hot weather) without completely overheating, i turn the fan off and it seems to act the same as wih it on, the car will overheat like crazy,

figured i would drain the radiator, and fill with just watter and water wetter to drop the temps some, DIDNT WORK!!

got a synthetic oil chance to help, and cleaned the maf and intake(seafoam) now the car spits and sputters and all (even after letting everything burn off) and heats up even quicker!

so question is WTF!? lol
but really what can i do to solve or help this problem as inexpensively as possible??

Advance auto parts sells fans. That "can't get a part" **** is more like "i'm getting your money". I agree with Adder, you bought a crappy electronic fan.

The fan should be run off a relay, also. Not toggle switch.
