Im converting my 95 speed 3.8 to a 5.0HO the car was a 5 speed and it is EFI! So i need help on what i need to do.. Will my stock tranny work i heard it would but i trust you guys more than other sites please help. And start from page 1 please im only 16 taking this big task on by myself!

Came out of a 91 cobra or gt i dont remember lol

trans will work, wiring will not. K-member will need to be changed...

and the engine would be out of either a 91 GT or LX... not a Cobra.

If your doing it to learn about your car and learn more about working on cars and/or you love your exact car and could never have another car even though it may be better... (you are gonna learn alot doing the swap)

Then do the swap..

However, If your just doing it to put a 5.0 in it, your better off selling your car and buying a factory 5.0. 5.0 cars are pretty cheap. plus you can sell your car overpriced someome will buy it. Especially around tax season.

I know you didnt ask for opinions if u should do it, but just thought i would add my opinion lol
