I had a engine warning light and i went and purchased a code reader and it gave me a code of 85 which is canister purge soleniod cicuit failure. So after i did a little research to find where the part is located and i go to the car and it is not even on the car. I cant even find the plug. I'm sure the plug has been cut off and is gone. I was hoping someone could tell me which wiring harness it was originally in. Picture would be great. 93 mustang GT

Unless some has completely remove the wiring the connector for the canister purge solenoid will be at the top front of the engine in the area of the heater tube.

Hey guys, i need a little more help. I purchased the purge valve solenoid and it looks correct but it does have a different connector on it. I was wondering if there is another wiring harness in between the connector and the purge valve. thanks Curtis.
