need advice on shortblocks (which one/where to get it)

you should just do like what adder said grab a boss block and use everything you have and just up the boost and not cringe anymore when you feel like hammering it

I thought it was a good idea... I have considered it myself. I'd drop some low CR pistons in, and add the turbo kit i've always wanted.

i agree that it would definetly be the wisest choice, especially money wise... i'm more worried that it will be way off my power goal and i'll end up kicking myself for not going with the stroker. if i do however stick with my current assembly is there a particular reason why i should opt for the boss block instead of let's say a dart shp, which is right around the same
price range?

IMHO id go with the SHP block, its already machined and good to go, the BOSS need a little TLC before its ready lol

and with a better block you can always spin the blower a little harder and make up the displacement deficit/low end problem that way
