Just recently bought a stock 87 GT. Put long tubes, O/R x-pipe and flowmasters on it,Electric fan, Converted to mass air, 76mm mass air, 75mm t-body and Edelbrock Performer RPM 2 intake, MSD ignition, car has no A/C or smog controls either. I am thinking about AFR 185 heads and posssibly a TFS cam but not sure. Any advice? shortblock is stock for now,so needs to work with factory pistons. will probably go 331ci with a blower end of year or next year.

AFR185cc heads can have clearance issues due to the 2.02" intake valves. If you are going to use the stock shortblock, get your pistons flycut.
