I WANT THE FOX....
I wrote about this fox 93' GT a day or two ago that my friends step dad would possibly sell me for around $5500. But the problem was it has 130k miles on it, but perfect condition, and I need a car to get me all the way through college(4 year) and well since Im only a senior in HS it needs to be able to take alot more miles...lol
But I was thinking about it...and I drive a 99' v6 with only 44k miles on it, and I was thinking I could get about $8300-8000 for it which would leave me around $2500 or more to spend on the fox to replace some of the wear and tear done from 130k and some mods to get it faster...what do you all think?

Well for one thing that 5.0 motor is built to last so i wouldnt even worry about those miles, but dont expect it to run perfect. All 5.0's require a little maintenence so if you are not into fixing your car dont get it.

& they are very very easy to fix. Even engine rebuilds are simple. The transmission on the other hand I hated. Was a good try I guess, but in the end I learned I can't rebuild transmissions.

85mustangGT good point.....I just cant stand hearing these v8's cruise by me sounding mean as hell and knowing I will never sound like that (atleast not without paying some big bucks!) and plus I want to street race every now and then too, and 5.0's just look like the **** too.
