5.0 Overheating problem, any ideas?
Hello. I have a 1994 Mustang GT stock 5.0 that is overheating on the highway. It does ok in stop and go traffic, although it still runs a little on the warm side. I pulled the radiator cleanded and flushed it, and changed the thermostat to 185 degrees. I can see the water pump pumping the water when the radiator cap is off, so i don't think that is the problem. I'm not loosing any coolent at all and the A/C doesn't work, so i never have that on. I'm completely lost, and have no idea where to go from here. Maybe the cats are stopped up? If so, how would i know? Any ideas?
Thanks in advance for your help.

Do a visual to check that there isnt anything blocking air flow across your radiator like cotton from a cotton wood, weeds, trash etc. And make sure to check the front side of the condensor.
Rent a combustion gas tester like this one.

I know your not loosing coolant but there is no use spending any money on parts if you arent certain you have good headgaskets and no cracks.
