Default Bad Day

Thanks for the tips fltt but I decided to let the pros do it.

However, on my way over, like an idiot, I didn't tape the wires back up thinking it would be easier for the installers and I somehow manage to burn up a wire and short out my alternator. Smelt pretty bad under the hood. oohh man. I guess I deserved that. Anyway, I now have to install a new alterator after I get the car back tomorrow from getting a new keyless entry installed.

I guess lesson learned huh?

it could very well be the keyless/alarm that is the problem. Can you find a couple of relays connected to the pink/yellow and pink/green wires in the kick, or behind the dash speakers?

I ended up having a shop take care of it for me. They had a hard time figuring out what was wrong because, as I found, everything seemed to be working fine but the door just wasn't unlocking. They ended up running a new wire it looked like and got everything to work.

Thanks again for the help.
