Mixing parts from different years...
I though I consult the Oracle here, for guidance on this project I have...
I'm doing an overall paint job on a 92 GT with a little bit of custom work.
My customer wants to use a rear bumper and side skirts from a 93 Cobra...
Rear bumper no problem, it fits a wrap around the quarters.
The front part of the side skirts is another story though...
At the mid section on the fender, the Cobra skirt is 1. 1/4" wider than the factory GT one.
So obviously, the fenders have to be different on the Cobra with a smaller wheel arch etc...
My question is:
Is this the only difference or are the door moldings different as well?
My customer thinks that Cobras use different doors but I doubt that since it would involve a body shell alteration and Ford wouldn't spend the money into having a different production line, lol.
I do not have any pictures since I'm posting out of impulse, but I can take some tomorrow and make things clearer if need to be.

the wheel opening on the front should only be different on a '90 and older
the difference was when in '91+ the pony wheels were standard. they are 16's when b4 they were 15's
on a '92 '93 5.0 car everything should be the same as the '93 cobra.

Thanks Bob.
Part of the confusion for me, besides the fact that I'm not familiar enough with the foxes, is that the customer is mixing stuff from different years and can't keep up himself with what is what, lol.
He had an early fender on one side and the correct year one on the other...
That made us discover that the two piece Cobra skirts have the join by the fender as where the GT ones are connected by the quarter panel.
We were trying to put the RH side on the driver side.
We finally got it right now and the skirts fit properly onto the correct fenders, lol.
