vibration when runnning
I did a auto to t-5 swap on my 95 gt and now it has a vibration at idle and worse when acceleration. It came with new clutch and pressure plate and a 50oz imbalance resurfaced flywheel, it had no dowels in it either. It this the correct flywheel or should it be a balanced 50 oz? Or what else could be causing this, no vibration on car before i blew the torque conv, had to drive 3 miles with it like that could that have caused something else to go wrong, thanks for the input

that was the flywheel that came in a 95 gt originally just missing dowel, wha is the purpose of them? Everything came out of salvage 95 gt, they told me to check to see if flywheel bolts bottomed out and r not tight. After resurfacing they may be to long and not be tight. Or he said it could be the dampner, i looked to c if it wobbled but not sure if you could even tell if it was. Does anybody know what the problem could be?

you dont machine the engine to crank surface, its the OPPOSITE side where the clutch disc rides...
no the bolts are correct, you need to get some dowels, install them and THEN then clutch and all will be allright...
take a picture of the flywheel just to make sure its a 50oz not a 28oz too
