does the car seem faster with the s/c hooked up? maybe the the hose to the gauge has a leak.

i just bought a new gauge and it is doing the same thing ... maybe I am not producing the air that it says i am supposed to. that or the upgrades are over taking the produced air...need bigger pulleys.... new gauge came with new hoses ...

no it's not wierd, it's called check the belt, like I said in my first post, if you didn't use a breaker bar to tighten it, it's too loose, btdtst!!

I had the exact same problem. I had good vacum readings but once I got on it, it would read zero boost and would bog down badly. Found out I had a faulty fuel pump. Changed it and presto Boost guage reads between 8 and 10 PSI. Probably not your issue but something to maybe look into.

Um what? That make no sense at all.. the Fuel pump has nothing to do with your car making boost.

As you know having a Vortech it dosen't make instant Boost. Once I would be driving and get on it, it would go to the Boost side of the guage but because my fuel pump wasn't producing enough fuel it would bog down before I could make Boost. Once again now that fuel pump has been replaced I am able to get back into the higher RPM's, not only does the car drive like it should but i am able to finally see my boost guage working.
