I have done compression test.. fuel pressure test.. replace spark plugs and wires fuel pump brand new distributor cap new ,ignition coil new, the car idles very very rough and backsfire stalls surges and I get this strong smell like gas?? I ran out of ideas if some on can help me I'll appreciate thanks MF......by the way I got the new engine off a truck F-150 ....I dont think is any difference but anyway thanks ...

34--- EGR valve circuit out of self test range
85--- Canister Purge circuit failure

You distributor isn't set in the motor right. You need to bring it back to TDC and drop the dizzy in again.

I know what the problem is now the engine is got different firing order as is from a truck F-150 is a non H.0 5.0 no wonder I cant get the timing set H.0 5.0 are high output engine so I got to take this engine out and get the right one sucks !!!!!!!

No, you just have to change the cam. The throws of the crank are the same between HO and non HO motors. If you look at the 2 firing orders you will see 4 cylinders that just change positions in the order....Thats all because of the cam...change the cam and you will change the firing order.
