Hey guys

Last spring i went to install some mac lt's with 1 5/8" primary with a 3" collector. It was a pain and i had to remove the steering link. The headers were way to big so i went back to the shortys.

Im going to be tradin my 3" collector for some 2.5" collectors this weekend. I wont install them till spring but whats the steering piece i need that'll make my life easier when i go to reinstall Long tubes again?

Is it this bad boy? And will this make the installation easier? Or will this not affect the installation?

it wont make installation any easier, it only firms up your steering feel, transfers more vibrations through the steering wheel, and gives you slightly more room for the header.
