1992 aod transmission wont go in third help?????
Hi I bought my first mustang its a 92 5.0 lx aod if i put in 1 then shift to d it will get secod gear i called a transmision shop before purchasing they said that it might need a grommet??? the previous owner had the tranny rebuilt 3 years ago. any ideas??? thanks alot

1st what do you mean by you shifting from 1st , does it just stay in 2nd??
iv had a rebuilt aod with all the good guts, kit., HD clutches and that sucka went out after 3 years of mostly normal driving!
AOD suck!!
