headers red hot??? why?

to replace the oil pan gasket do I need to loose the engine mounts and lift the engine?

yea you gotta jack the motor up to remove the pan. If you have an engine hoise (cherry picker) that makes things a lot easier.

And be sure to get a one-piece oil pan gasket like the Felpro OS34508R, not the OEM multi-piece (crap gasket). The one piece costs a bit more (like twice the price) but well worth it.
