How to remove top t5 transmission bolts

Well fellas i finally got it off put the clutch in and now im ready to put thr trans back on, which ill do tomorrow. The way i got them off was with two 2 foot extensions and a universal. Next time i will remove the tranny and bell housing seperately. This was my first time. Plenty of lessons learned. Any tips on making the install of the transmission easy? Oh and let me clarify its for the fox, the only car i believe to have a t5 if im correct.

If you are putting the trans in by yourself I recommend getting some threaded rod and sticking them in 2 of the bolt holes to allow it to slide straight in...only downside to this not being able to spin the trans a little to allow the input shaft to slide into the clutch disc.

You can't do it by yourself 100 percent. I use a skateboard to move it around, a regular jack to raise it (or just bench press it up) but you really should have someone in the car press the clutch pedal to get it home all the way. You can just tighten all bolts little by little, but you can crack a bell that way. Do yourself a favor and drain it all while its out. Then refill with amsoil or royal purple. 2 3/4 qts thru the shifter hole b4 you reinstall shifter. Also a good time to correct the speedo properly and use a 6t drive gear, so you only need a 18-20t driven gear

Plus rangers and tbird turbo coupes. I replaced a tranny in my old 86 grand prix years ago and it was a struggle being that it was on the ground, so what I did was took a bell housing bolt, went to lowes and bought 2 longer bolts. This allowed me to thread them in where the tranny still wasn't positioned and be able to line it up easier. Was cake after that.

well his comment was directed to me, about which of his cars.
yes i realize that your newer cars do not use a t5, but honestly in the 25 years i have owned mustangs, you'd be surprised what i hear. and trying to give you advice on something i may never have tried would be silly.
i have heard people refer their AOD's as c4's, c6's
i have heard people saving up to upgrade their '89 to a "world class" t5 that they already have.
just too many....hell...theres a thread from yesterday and the guy wants to know how to get all the trans oil in his torque converter for his t5.
so yeah...im just saying
yes i realize that your newer cars do not use a t5, but honestly in the 25 years i have owned mustangs, you'd be surprised what i hear. and trying to give you advice on something i may never have tried would be silly.
