Default 1995 5.0 Mustang question?

Okay i have a 95 5.0 and I was wondering if it would be possible to break 400WHP with the following.

GT40X heads
B303 Cam
CAI
Trick Flow Street Burner EFI Intake Manifold
BBK long tube Headers
Off Road X pipe
347 Stroker kit.

Would I being making at least 400whp? I got a 5.0 because in comparison to the 4.6's, they're cheap to build.

sn95_331_GT_ yellow is right, 340 on a really good day. For 400rwhp, you're on the right track with the 347 (10:1 compression ideal), longtubes & mid-pipe. The rest needs to change.

Might I suggest:

TFS Track Heat Intake
AFR 185 heads
Custom Grind Cam (ex Ed Curtis)

Also, don't forget your fuel system upgrades. Fuel pump, injectors with matching MAF, etc.

You got a lot of 302 parts there, they don't work so hot on 347's
You need good heads and cam to begin with.........

400rwhp is achievable but it takes some decent work with a N/A setup on a 302 based motor....if you want to get there quicker either start with a 351w or go forced induction.

Ah, automatic. That does change things significantly. An automatic "eats" more power than a manual, so your rear wheel # will be less than average. Unless you step up to a 351 based engine or put some boost on it, 400 is a bit lofty.

Are you just picking a # to aim for or do you have a specific purpose for the car in mind?
