That depends on how much you want to spend. FRPP clutches are nice but have a slightly stiff pedal. I have heard mixed feelings on the Spec clutches. The centerforce dual friction is a really nice clutch too. If your not racing it and it is just a DD get around car, which I doubt it will be or at least won't stay that way... you can get a part store replacement....

For the price though I would get this....

It has a stock pedal feel and I have seen them take some abuse. Don't get their clutch cable though if you want a lighter pedal. While it is a decent cable it is stiff as hell...yes their cable causes it to be stiff....

Also, If I put an aftermarket racing cam in my car will it be fine with the old fuel injection system or do I have to do something to it?

Research what cam's actually do before you dive into trying to buy one. They are the heart of the motor, and need to be fairly well balanced to your other parts.
Camshafts are the LAST purchase you make, based on other mods.

Although I can't offer you much advice, I wish you good luck on your project. The end result will be worth it!

My Late model resto adj cable and quadrant kit didn't make my pedal any stiffer. Fine for a daily driver. I also have the Ford Racing clutch kit that I put in back in the late 90's.

I have seen 3 different cars with 3 different clutches and quadrants....all 3 were pretty stiff...mine being the stiffest...

So I got the motor out and we are gonna rebuild it and I want that deep v8 roar with a lope sound and increase performance. whats the best way to do this? Also what is the biggest cam I can put in it without boosting anything else.

You sound like you want to leave most internal parts stock but want that lumpy sound so just call up Edelbrock or Cranecams tell them you want a lumpy cam for your engine and they'll walk you through what you should throw in as far as lifters and rods etc. They do this everyday and are the true experts. Call both to get a price difference and compare. In my experience with freinds drag race the Edelbrock and Crane Cams seem the most reliable. Also these cars you usually can leave stock except the ignition timing if thats all your doing.
