I Installed a new ram clutch and flywheel on my car. When i take off car is smooth then at about 2,500 to 3,500 rpms car shakes but after that smooths out. i have driven the car about 5 miles so far and it is getting smoother and smoother as i drive. is this normal?

Short answer: no, it's not normal.

sounds like the wrong flywheel, or something is loose.

If you swapped it over from stock, remove everything. Bring your stock flywheel and your aftermarket flywheel to a machine shop. Get the machine shop to either check it themselves or send it out to get MATCHED BALANCE. Not all but majority of SBF's are externally balanced. I have had this problem when performing a t-5 swap on my SN95. I had to send the automatic flexplate out of town with my manual flywheel to get the balance matched. After that it was okay.

when you say "shakes" do you mean vibrates slighty or violently shakes?

Did you install a new pilot (not throwout) bearing in the rear of the motor?
