Default help please

Let me start by saying thanks for looking ...ok here is my problem I have a newly rebuilt 5.0 like a hour run time started getting a surge and die at idle well i know its prob tunning issues and such but decided to go back in and readjust the rocker arms had a slight noise they are stud mount rollers so anyway they seemed loose as hell so re adjusted them again normal procedure zero lash 1/2 turn etc but on the next cyl I was doing for kicks went back and felt the first one and could lift it with some resistance off the valve1/8 inch felt like a un pumped lifter so now have i bleed them down and not going to be able to adj correctly are am i freeking for nothing i really am stummped and feel pretty dam dumb

When you adjust one leave it be. Assuming you had the cam in the correct position when you done it. If you recheck and secomd guess with no definative reason you will be adjusting in circles!

nothing to special just a little extra bump bored, ported gt 40 heads ported systmax intake, e cam comp roller rockers lunati adj gude plates 70 mm t-body c&l mass 24# injectors msd ign (complete) have a sct 3bank on order mac equal length headers off road h pipe and flow masters thats the engine have already made mods to chassis also

ya thast was kinda the line I was thinking on... lesson 1# beer after the job is done lol ....but now that raises a second question for me since I already did the second guess and am really going to have to start over but this time with un pumped lifters what is the procedure for that the same or more on final turn?
