Exclamation clutch quadrant striped teeth

hello i have a 92 mustang gt convertable stock quad and cable! stock clutch!!
i was driving and pushed in clutch pedal and pop!! pop! everytime i tryed to push it in it pops gos to the floor not catching has anyone seen this before i no the problem is under the dash is there a quick fix for this a way i can rigg it until i buy one its xmas time its my everyday driver and i have lots of shopping and work everyday thats gotta be done!! please help!!! im trying to be done and even if i gota limp around so xmas my bday '28th' and new years ant that bad!!!!

There's no safe, half-*** fix for this. Are you sure the quadrant is the problem? Get under the dash and make sure it is before wasting money and energy on something that may not be broken.

If it is, get an OEM replacement or go to a junkyard and replace it. I'd personally go for the aftermarket aluminum quadrant instead of stock plastic. Depends on time and money I guess.

+1 for the aftermarket quadrant. I'm going on 14 years with the one I put in the car when I first bought it. They dont cost much at all.

if you continue to drive it...you will smoke the clutch premature. and no...no easy fix, just replace it. i think ive seen them as low as $70 , i dont see a need for a firewall adjuster...the one on the end of cable is fine enuff for me

+10 its the quad I got the plastic peace the adjustment as well and yea they were chewed up!! Has new t5wc clutch and cable just not quad I just got the OEM from Ford 70$ smh!! Fml!!! Lol anyways I can't get the shaft out??? How in the world does this medal frame drop I took all the bolts off even the 4 at the fire wall!! I pulled the seal and steering wheel/column any ideas I no I'm messing up somewhere!! Thanks guys!!
