o2 sensor question
ok i have a 86 5.0 i got a new exhust system and i needed new o2 sensors for it, i could only get one bosh sensor at the auto store and had to order another on and i used one old sensor that i was able to get out. i went back to the auto store and the new sensor i ordered is NTK. Its the only brand i can get and the other store is the same. Now my question is will it hurt anything with one new bosh sensor and one new NTK sensor? The old sensors were bosh. Idc what brands you guys like or whatever its what i have. Thanks for your answers.

Like said, as long as they are both new you shouldn't have problems. I'm running two Bosch sensors and it cleared the CEL that was there when i bought the car.
Worst part is the mechanic I USED to use couldnt figure out what was triggering the CEL. I got a scanner and replaced both of the o2s.... haven't seen it since.

All have Bosch patent. American invented fuel injection and none of big car companies wanted it. Sold patent to Germany and they used this to shoot down many Allied airmen in WW11. My car seems to prefer the Motorcraft. Got two new 02 from parts house and had start-stall bs. Went to Motorcraft and it stopped. Lost something in the translation.

Hmm...
You might wanna perform a wiggle test, that don't sound right to me.
