Default 95 GT FOB

Hey the Key Fob on my GT is getting a little sketchy. Have to hit the lock/unlock a few times to get it to work. I'm assuming that the Fob can be pried open and the battery inside replaced. If I do this, will I have to "Relearn" the Fob?

Here's a video I found about reprogramming the keyless remote:

Opening the key fob itself is easy just be careful not to crack the plastic or break it.
